ShipBob Delivery Promise

Estimated delivery dates backed by real network data, with cost-optimized carrier selection

ShipBob Delivery Promise tells customers exactly when their order would arrive, before they buy. Behind that date is a delivery engine built on real shipment data across every ZIP code, carrier, and fulfillment center in the network. It knows how long delivery actually takes, not what a carrier contract says it should take.

Carriers that can’t hit the promised date are automatically excluded. The ones that can are ranked by cost, so merchants get the best rate without sacrificing reliability. Beta available in May with a phased rollout by fulfillment center.

Returns

Returns that work as hard as you do

This spring, ShipBob is making returns simpler, cheaper, and more controlled across both our standard and apparel returns solutions. New QR return labels let end customers scan and ship using ShipBob’s carrier rates, cutting return shipping costs for both return types.

Lot-tracked products like supplements and beauty can now be inspected and restocked on return, so merchants recover inventory value instead of writing it off. For apparel brands with complex returns requirements, we’re also expanding our dedicated returns solution out of Fort Worth and accepting new merchants.

TrackBob

A branded post-purchase experience that builds trust at every step of the delivery journey

TrackBob is ShipBob’s branded tracking page that puts the merchantโ€™s logo and identity front and center from the moment an order ships to the moment it lands at the door.

Instead of sending customers to a generic carrier page, merchants control what they see: time-stamped tracking events, each businessโ€™s branding, and a clean experience that builds trust at every step. TrackBob is now available globally for all Shopify and ShipStation merchants (Note: ShipBob currently only supports ShipStation as a middleware).  Learn more

ShipBob As A Carrier In Shopify

Full order visibility from ShipBob’s hands to the customer’s door

ShipBobย is now a registered tracking partnerย inย Shopify. ย That means merchants and end customers now receive more detailed tracking updates, reflecting the precise location of a package at each stage of its journey. ย

Because Shopify recognizes ShipBob as a tracking partner,ย ShipBobย can now passย ShipBobย tracking numbers onto Shopify directly (instead of passingย aย Vehoย orย UniUniย tracking number). Shopify then comes to us for updates, and we translate whatever the underlying carrier is doing into clean tracking statusesย forย endย customers. ย Live now.ย

Inventory Shrink & Bundle Performance Reports

Gain full visibility into inventory accuracy and bundle performance without manual effort

Two new reports, available in the Analytics tab this May, give merchant teams the dedicated views they’ve been missing, so merchants know whatโ€™s happening across their product catalog and can act on it fast.

The Inventory Shrink Report surfaces shrink events, spot check results, and inventory adjustments in one place. Merchant teams can identify discrepancies quickly, hold the right parties accountable, and maintain confidence in inventory accuracy over time.

The Bundle Performance Report shows exactly how bundles are performing across the catalog. No more piecing together sales data manually. Merchants can identify top sellers, spot underperformers, and make faster, more informed decisions about which bundles to prioritize, promote, or retire.

Shopify Integration Updates

Smarter fulfillment routing and more flexible order management, built into the Shopify integration

Two updates to ShipBob’s Shopify integration give merchants more control over how orders are routed and managed across geographies and through every stage of fulfillment.

Shopify Markets Support enables merchants to sell across multiple geographies while orders are fulfilled from the appropriate regional warehouses. Inventory and fulfillment align with market-specific configurations in Shopify, helping prevent cross-border fulfillment when local inventory is available. Beta testing is currently open. Merchants can contact their ShipBob support representative to participate.

Partial Order Cancellation keeps Shopify fulfillment orders automatically aligned with ShipBob as orders are split, merged, or partially cancelled. Merchants can manage partial cancellations based on shipment status, with eligible updates reflected in Shopify and ineligible requests communicated via email. Generally available in June.

Omnichannel Advantage

Retailer and Marketplace Compliance Module ๐ŸŒŽ

Selling through retail and marketplace channels means navigating a maze of compliance rules, and getting them wrong means chargebacks. ShipBob’s new Retailer Compliance Module applies the right rules at the exact step they matter, using context-aware logic that adapts to each retailer’s requirements. The result: fewer compliance violations, fewer chargebacks, and the confidence to scale across channels without adding manual checks. Launching in June for all merchants using ShipBob’s EDI or marketplace integrations.

Global Network Advantage

Yard Management System for Inbound and Outbound Trailers ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

ShipBob has developed a new Yard Management System that tracks trailer arrivals and departures more accurately. This new system will help to prevent trailer dwell, so that merchant orders and WROs are shipped and received on time.  Phased rollout by fulfillment center.

Financial Advantage

Transaction History ๐ŸŒŽ Beta

Transaction History gives merchants complete visibility into their billing activity. Search and filter across all charges by order, fee, invoice, or credit with customizable columns directly in the dashboard. Merchants can use identifiers like PO#, Stored Order ID, and Order Type to find exactly what they’re looking for, so teams can validate invoices without manual workarounds. This feature will be generally available in May.

Billing Summary & Payment Status ๐ŸŒŽ Beta

Billing Summary & Payment Status gives merchants a clearer picture of what they’re being charged and why. View invoices organized by billing cycle with costs broken out by category (Freight, B2B, and more) and see exactly where spend is going. Track payment status at the invoice level and download receipts directly, without needing to contact support or dig through email threads. If you are interested in participating in beta testing this May, please reach out to your ShipBob contact.

Support Advantage

Flag for Hazmat SDS Errors ๐ŸŒŽ

ShipBob merchants will now see errors in HAZMAT SDS sheets flagged directly in the Product Catalog, along with instructions for how to fix them. No waiting on back-and-forth with the ShipBob team; instead, merchants will have quick access with resolution steps within the Dashboard. Available now. Learn more

Quarantine Lot Management via API ๐ŸŒŽ Beta

ShipBob is expanding lot management capabilities with Quarantine Lot Management via API. Merchants can now assign lots to quarantined inventory by fulfillment center or by lot directly through API integration, giving them more systematic control during recalls and inspections, as well as the visibility needed to meet compliance requirements without manual workarounds or gaps in audit trails. Beta testing is available in April. Merchants interested in participating should reach out to their ShipBob point of contact to participate.  Learn more.

Full-Stack Technology Advantage

SKU-level Inventory Thresholds ๐ŸŒŽ

SKU-Level Inventory Thresholds give merchants granular control over how inventory buffers are applied across their catalog. Rather than a single global threshold that treats every SKU the same, merchants can now set product-specific buffers that reflect actual demand patterns, keeping fast-movers protected from oversell incidents while freeing up sellable inventory on slower products that don’t need the same cushion. Coming this June.

New Self-Serve Inventory Transfer Flow ๐ŸŒŽ Beta

This quarter, ShipBob is simplifying how merchants move inventory across our network with a new self-serve Inventory Transfer Flow. Merchants will be able to initiate, manage, and track inventory transfers end-to-end from one place, with real-time visibility at every stage. Whether rebalancing inventory across the network or responding to shifting demand, ShipBobโ€™s new Inventory Transfer experience provides a single, unified flow that handles it all.  Accepting beta merchants early Q2.

Klaviyo App 2.0 ๐ŸŒŽ

ShipBob new Klaviyo App 2.0 is live, built on OAuth and approved for the Klaviyo Marketplace. The new integration replaces manual API key setup with a secure, one-click connection, making it faster and safer to link ShipBob and Klaviyo accounts. Merchants currently using the existing integration will need to migrate before end of August to avoid disruptions to their flows. Learn more.

Developer Simulation Platform ๐ŸŒŽ

The Developer Simulation Platform gives developers a self-serve environment to build, test, and validate the full WRO flow without relying on internal tooling. Using both API and UI, developers can now run end-to-end simulations independently, including testing new features, edge cases, and common workflows on their own timeline. Coming this quarter.

Edit Orders via API ๐ŸŒŽ

ShipBob’s Public Order API now allows merchants to edit order line items and addresses. This is important for merchants who want to push order changes from their ERP (like NetSuite) to ShipBob without using our Dashboard.

Manual FBA Creation via API ๐ŸŒŽ

ShipBobโ€™s Public Order API now accepts FBA as an order type, allowing merchants to submit all order details programmatically rather than manually entering dozens of lines and quantities through the FBA order creation workflow.  Available now.  Learn more.

Kitting Order Creation via API ๐ŸŒŽ

Merchants can now define assembly instructions once, capturing every step, component, and detail, and reuse them across unlimited kitting orders through ShipBobโ€™s API. Whether merchants are launching a new bundle, scaling a subscription box, or managing complex assembly at peak volume, ShipBobโ€™s developer platform delivers consistent, scalable kitting workflows without the manual overhead. Available now.  Learn more.

QR Login for ToolBob & MiniBob  ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ  WMS and Powered By

WMS and Powered By merchants can quickly onboard large volumes of workers (with or without a ShipBob email) by providing each worker with a time-bound QR code generated by the Ops Manager. This allows instant, password-less login on any Minibob/ Toolbob device. The QR code encodes secure login credentials and device restrictions, removing the need for the user to manually enter or reset credentials (which is especially helpful during peak seasons). Ops Manager can start issuing QR codes directly from the User Management page in ToolBob.

Cart Creation Management and Fulfillment Settings ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ WMS and Powered By

Get more orders out the door with less friction. Cart Creation Management brings smarter fulfillment configuration to the system level, modeling real equipment, cart types, and execution rules so the software matches how a merchantโ€™s operation actually runs. We’re deploying this across ShipBob-operated fulfillment centers as well, optimizing efficiency across the network so every merchant benefits from faster, more consistent fulfillment. Available in June for WMS and Powered By merchants.

Unified Order Dashboard in ToolBob ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ WMS and Powered By

One place to see everything in motion. The new Unified Order Dashboard gives you a real-time view of fulfillment execution across all pick flows, with order priority, carrier cut-offs, risk, and exceptions all surfaced in a single screen. No more toggling between views to figure out what needs attention; merchants see what matters and when it matters, so deliveries stay on track and promises stay intact. Rolling out at ShipBob sites, with availability coming this summer for WMS and Powered By customers.
