Outbound Sort Centers via ShipBob Logistics 🇺🇸
We’re expanding our network of sort centers across the US, which are already live the West, Northeast, Midwest, and Southwest, with the Southeast coming in early 2025! These investments in technology and operations allow us to pass on significant efficiencies to you. After each shipment is fulfilled at a spoke site and sorted at a sort center, it’s shipped faster with later and more frequent carrier pickups via additional carrier options for an overall enhanced delivery experience for you and your customers.
Replenishment Recommendations for Inventory Placement 🇺🇸 Early Access
Just when we thought ShipBob’s Inventory Placement Program (IPP) couldn’t make reducing shipping costs and transit times any easier – it has. Starting October 2024, we’ll provide automated replenishment recommendations in a report you can access directly in your ShipBob dashboard. This report will refresh your inventory data weekly using inputs from your order data and our predictive forecasting models to help ensure you’re fully stocked and ready for a successful Peak 2024.
Get Started with IPPAI-Powered HAZMAT Compliance 🇺🇸
We’re streamlining the classification and management of HAZMAT products at ShipBob to help ensure compliance. Moving forward, all new hazmat products will be placed at certified sites, and we’ve enhanced our platform to make managing, receiving, and shipping these products easier.
We’re using AI to reduce many of the manual processes that help you identify and categorize HAZMAT products in your ShipBob product catalog. Additionally, there will be new in-app improvements to more easily manage HAZMAT products as well as new validations at receiving to give you more visibility throughout the fulfillment process to help prevent any compliance-related issues with your shipments and provide a smooth shopping experience for your customers.

Orders Page Improvements to Manage Order Types, Splits, & Exceptions 🌎 Early Access
With the average user spending 30% of their time in the ShipBob dashboard on the Orders page, our updated UI makes it easy to customize and collect the information you need in a single view:
- Improved organization, including a side panel to drill into details without leaving the page
- New and expanded filtering options so you can find what you’re looking for faster
- Omnichannel order support, with more visibility for B2B orders and an easier way to identify split orders
- More transparency into item-level order details to quickly identify root cause and resolve orders that are on hold or in exception

We redesigned the Analytics tab in your ShipBob dashboard to make it easier to get advanced insights needed to make strategic business decisions in just a few clicks. You can now access the following reports (with more coming each month):

Enhancements to Returns 🌎
We’re streamlining returns management by adding new columns and filters to help you find key information like created date and return type faster, and you can now process returns at any ShipBob fulfillment center you are able to receive inventory, not just where the original order was placed.
SKU + Product ID Search Functionality for WRO & Kitting Requests 🌎
We heard your feedback and implemented new ways to speed up creating both warehouse receiving and kitting orders. You can now search for products by SKU or product ID when creating these orders in your ShipBob dashboard. We’ve also grouped the display of product names and SKUs to make it simple to distinguish products with similar names or variations with different product IDs.
New Places to Find ShipBob News & Updates 🌎
You can now find important content, resources, and updates from the ShipBob team both on your dashboard homepage both in the “Announcements” section and the bottom carousel section as well as on your ShipBob dashboard login page, so you never miss any important ShipBob news again.
Direct Debit Payments from Bank Accounts in New Countries 🌎
Over the past few months, we’ve added payment method flexibility for merchants that wish to pay from their bank account in their home country. Now, UK-based merchants can pay via BACS, EU-based merchants can pay via SEPA, and Australian merchants can pay via BECS, all using direct debit in their local currency.

Enable MFA to strengthen the security of your ShipBob account at the point of login.
